The Position:
- We offer $15 or 40% whichever is higher
- We will pay for your supplemental insurance
- Continuing education
- A supportive, collaborative environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years in the industry (it’s not that we believe age or time have anything to do with skills, but I need to be able to leave you alone in the shop legally)
- STRONG color skills
- Great cutting skills
- Ability to follow instruction
- Jovial disposition and people skills
Responsibilities:
- Everybody cleans and maintains the shop. Yes, you, yes, even the boss. Our apprentice is not the maid.
- We will be in social media posts and videos a-lot. Star Studio is planning on greatly increasing our social footprint in the near future, and as a Star Team member, you will be a big part of that. (we’re gonna be famous!)
The Location: Star Studio is located in the heart of beautiful downtown Ypsilanti. We are next door to all kinds of amazing food, events and shopping!
